Provide psychosocial support and counseling to clients and families. Connect clients with community resources and support systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and counseling
- Develop discharge and support plans
- Connect clients with community and financial resources
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
- Facilitate family meetings and care discussions
- Advocate for client rights and needs
- Document clinical interactions and outcomes
Requirements
Must Have:
- •Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- •Negative background check
- •TB test (within 1 year)
- •Professional liability insurance
- •References from previous supervisors
Nice to Have:
- •Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- •Maryland LCSW License preferred
- •Counseling and crisis intervention skills
- •Knowledge of community resources
- •Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills
