About This Position
Provide direct patient care to clients under RN supervision. Assist with daily living activities and medical procedures in home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Help with medication management under RN direction
- Monitor vital signs and report changes
- Assist with catheter care and wound dressing
- Support client mobility and transfer
- Document care activities and patient responses
- Communicate compassionately with clients and families
Requirements
Must Have:
- •Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- •Negative background check
- •Negative TB test (within 1 year)
- •Current vaccinations
- •References from previous employers
Nice to Have:
- •Current Maryland LPN License
- •Completion of accredited LPN program
- •CPR/BLS certification
- •Previous home health or healthcare experience
- •Patient-centered approach to care
